The Zebra Love was coined by Tali Lehavi after she deconstructed and reconstructed the heart pattern of the Family-Friendship symbol. Then the heart stripes reminded her of a zebra, and zebras are unique. Recognizing that people are unique and that they sometimes feel uncomfortable about it, while others can sometimes bully them for it, Lehavi wanted to cheer people on to embrace their unique stripes. At the same time, those who wear the Zebra Love pattern also make a commitment not to bully others for their uniqueness!
